The quince is an ancient fruit with a unique flavour and rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Unlike other fruits, quinces aren’t usually eaten raw. They’re best enjoyed cooked, turning the fruit from creamy white to a light rosy pink.
We like to enjoy ours as a jam with mom’s secret recipe to naturally making it a deep, dusky red.
